This beautiful photograph was taken in Door County,
Wisconsin, where stone walls are a common feature of the
landscape.  The early Belgian and Scandinavian settlers built
walls out of the stones they encountered while clearing the
fields... now - more than 150 years later they are still standing-
reminding us of the back breaking job it was to settle there.
