Dr. Noriega is a licensed clinical psychologist and a community psychologist.  
She specializes in working with infants, children adolescents,and adult
women.  She works from a biopsychosocial framework which looks at the
individual and their difficulties in the context of their social and cultural
environment and their medical functioning. Dr. Noriega is a bilingual/
bicultural psychologist who provides all services in English and Spanish.

Dr. Noriega received her Bachelor's degree in psychology from Florida
International University in 1980 and continued at FIU for a Master's of Science
in Community Psychology.  She continued to get her doctorate degree in 1994
at the University of Miami.  Dr. Noriega completed her doctoral internship in
pediatric psychology at Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School,
where she also completed a post doctoral fellowship in infancy and preschool
children, specializing in developmental disabilities, chronic illness issues,
psychoeducational issues and psychological trauma.

Dr. Noriega has worked in community mental health and inpatient settings,
evaluating the effectiveness of mental health services.  She has worked in
pediatric hospitals and health centers with children, women and families.  She
has taught and supervised graduate students for 16 years.  

Dr. Noriega is currently licensed in the state of Georgia as a psychologist.  She
is a member of the Georgia Psychological Association, Hispanic Health
Coalition and American Psychological Association.

variety of clients offering a variety of services in evaluation and treatment.  
Both evaluation and treatment and conducted in English and Spanish in a
culturally competent manner which minimizes misdiagnosis due to cultural
factors.
